2. Data Collection

We collect only the data needed to provide the service:

• Account data: Name, email address, account ID, role, and workspace — required to log in.
• Chat messages: Conversations with the AI assistant, used to generate responses and improve your experience.
• Uploaded documents (optional): Files you choose to upload to your library or workspace.
• Smart Memory (optional): Personal preferences and facts you teach the AI. You can delete these at any time.
• Location (optional): Used only when you ask location-based questions (e.g. "police stations near me"). Never collected in the background.
• Voice audio (optional): Used only while voice mode is active; processed in real time and not stored.
• Camera/photos (optional): Used only when you send images or upload files.
• Crash diagnostics: Anonymised crash reports via Sentry help us fix bugs. No conversation content is included.
• Biometric Data: FaceID/Fingerprint data is processed locally on your device for authentication and is never transmitted to our servers.

3. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored on secure, government-approved encrypted servers within India. We employ:

• AES-256 encryption for data at rest.
• TLS 1.3 for data in transit.
• Strict Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).

4. AI & Usage Limits

This tool uses Artificial Intelligence to assist in investigations. It is an aid, not a replacement for human judgment. Officers must verify all AI-generated insights against original case files. The department is not liable for actions taken solely based on AI suggestions.

5. Your Rights & Account Deletion

You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time — either in-app (Settings → Delete Account on the mobile app) or from any device, without needing to sign in, via our account deletion page. Deletion requests are processed after a 30-day grace period (cancel any time by logging back in); some records may be retained beyond that where required by law.
